April 26th - UMMA Aftermath Photo Exhibit: Sandy Prochazka is organizing a field trip to the University of Michigan Museum of Art to see the exhibit Aftermath: Landscapes of Devastation and visit some objects not currently on view in the Paper Study Room. Space is limited and there are only a few spots left, so if interested please contact Sandy at email@example.com.
- Crooked Tree Arts Center, Petoskey, MI. - AACC Members Sue Dempsey and Greg Czarnecki have photos on display in two exhibits at the CTAC. The featured exhibit is the 2018 Juried Photograhic Exhibition running from Jan 20 to Mar 24, 2018. Several of Greg and Sue's photos are also on display in the Atrium located on the lower level as part of the CTAC Photographic Society members exhibit.
- Artist Reception - David H Frankel, paintings and photographs - David H Frankel's landscape paintings and photographs are on display at the Ann Arbor Senior Center, 1320 Baldwin Ave., Jan. 8 through Feb. 28. The Opening Reception will be Friday, Jan. 12, 6 - 8 pm. There will be refreshments and a talk by the artist. Some artwork items, including his pottery will be for sale at the reception.
- Aftermath: Landscapes of Devastation - UMMA photography exhibition "Aftermath" examines landscape photographs made at the sites of natural or human-made disasters, capturing the results of destructive forces wrought on the land and its inhabitants. Showing until May 27th, 2018
- Ruth Gruber, Photojournalist - A selection of Gruber’s vintage prints, never before exhibited, will be presented alongside contemporary prints made from her original negatives. Feb 7 - Mar 12, 2018. UM Duderstadt Cener Gallery, 2281 Bonisteel Blvd, Ann Arbor.
