Ann Arbor Camera Club - Meetings and Events
Upcoming Meetings:
Meetings are held on the first and third Tuesday of the month from September through June. (see Annual Timeline on the Info page for more details). Meetings start at 7:00pm and will be held at the Zion Lutheran Church on 1501 W. Liberty in Ann Arbor. Here's a map to the room location.
Note: Please make sure you have read and can comply with our Policy on Infectious Disease Mitigation prior to attending a meeting in person.
December 5, 2023
- Program: Summer Fun - The Program for our December 5th meeting will be a slide show of images taken during the club's Summer Fun Events this past summer. The events were: Howell Balloon Fest, Ann Arbor in B & W, Greenfield Village, Ann Arbor Art Fair, Pointe Aux Barques Lighthouse, and the Detroit Eastern Market.

- Holiday Celebration and Print Exchange - Bring a print (or prints) wrapped up fopr others to chose from.

January 9, 2023
- Program: Texas Ladies Road Trip - Martha Campos will present photos from her recent photography adventure. Martha graduated from the University of Michigan in 1975 with a master’s degree in library science. Martha was a career Legal librarian until she retired in 2018. She now serves on the board of governors for the Martha Cook Building and Grounds at U of M. Martha loves to travel, and her interest in photography reflects her quest to seek out the unique experiences and stories that bring to life the locations she visits.

January 23, 2023
- Program: Birding in Alaska - Dan Blower will present images from one of his recent birding adventures. Dr. Blower received his B.A. and Ph.D. degrees from the University of Michigan in 1972 and 1984, respectively. He joined the University of Michigan as a research assistant in 1985 and was promoted to associate research scientist in 2006. In 2017, The Regents named Daniel Bower associate research scientist emeritus. Now retired, Dan is a passionate bird photographer. He loves to travel to exotic locations and photograph unique species of birds in their natural habitat.
